A message from the family of John M. Prince
John Prince, the loved owner and father of Holly Blue Acres, peacefully passed away this morning. During his 95 years of life, John was a lover of golf, Christ, and of course, blueberries. He was surrounded by loved ones for his final few days and passed in his sleep after a wonderful night and dinner with his family.
We wanted to thank all of John's friends and family for being so prominent in his life and the farm.
In the next few days we will have charity information linked here that John would have liked displayed. All donations made in his honor would be greatly appreciated.

John was a great lover of golf and brought his grandchildren to the Children's Course many times when they were young. We know John would appreciate younger generations getting into the sport and any donation made would help with that mission. We continue to be open for u-pick, 7 days a week, 8am to 5 pm, except Wednesdays when we are open until 7pm. We've had a lot of pickers in the field, but there are still SO many berries. Even though we are expecting high temperatures on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, we'll be open, but suggest pickers arrive earlier in the day for more comfortable conditions.

We'll be open 7 days a week, unless something unforeseen, like maybe very high temperatures, require us to close for a day or so. In that case we will post such information here on the website and also on our recorded phone message, number below. Once again, we have a great crop! The bushes are full of large, juicy, and tasty berries, so come on out!

Our price for berries in 2026 remains at $3 per pound, as it has been in past years.
